The high girls and boys JV games scheduled for tonight have been moved to Thursday, January 23rd at 4:30/6:00. The boys JV game against Wright that was scheduled for January 23rd, will now be played on Monday, February 3rd at 6:00.

The Upton Schools will change to a virtual day on Monday, January 20, 2025. Students and staff will still begin with a 10:00 AM start schedule. Please do your best to follow the directions given by your teachers. If you have technology issues, you can take care of that with your teachers tomorrow. Stay safe.

Upton Lady Cats play in Hot Springs, SD, tonight at 5:30 PM. They will play Edgemont in the opening round of the West River Tournament. The game will be live streamed on the NFHS network. Congratulations to Kelly Cork of Upton High School for achieving an incredible milestone in the Fall Virtual Business Management Challenge! Upton High School’s FBLA member Kelly Cork proudly claims the title of 1st in State and 18th in the Nation, showcasing her exceptional talent and dedication. The FBLA Virtual Business Management Challenge invites participants to put their business acumen to the test in a dynamic simulation. Students have the option to manage a bicycle manufacturing business or a blue jeans manufacturing business, facing real-world challenges and decision-making scenarios. During the competition, participants navigate a variety of business management tasks, including: Recruiting, hiring, and supervising employees Managing risk and resources Designing efficient factory floor layouts Strategically bidding on client orders Balancing profitability with long-term growth Each team is tasked with operating their virtual business for six simulated months, competing for the highest cumulative profit. Kelly Cork’s impressive performance highlights her deep understanding of business concepts, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. Last week, the Wyoming High School Activities Association (WHSAA) Student Advisory Council hosted a Student Leadership Summit in Casper, where various leadership topics were discussed, including "leading by example" and "vocal leadership." Among the attendees from Upton were sophomores Keanu Duarte and Caden Simianer, as well as freshman Paige Mills and Will Bowen. Additionally, Karstyn Garcia, a second-year member of the WHSAA Student Advisory Council, participated in the event. These students are now part of the Blue & White Club at Upton High School. As members, they will be responsible for creating a positive atmosphere at upcoming home events, ensuring an engaging and supportive environment for all stakeholders involved.
