
FBLA joined this month's Chamber of Commerce meeting!


Our FFA member, Cooper Miller , won supreme heifer at the 2023 NILE in Billings, MT! His steer was also a class winner! Cooper was also your reserve champion in showmanship! Way to go!!


Upton FFA would like to thank all of those who participated in the chili cook-off today! Special thanks to 3T Ranch, Joe's Food Center, Arrow, Upton Co-op, Mrs. Samuelson , and The Garcias for entering their chili! Thank you to everyone that supplied cinnamon rolls! Congratulations to 3T Ranch for winning the chili cook off! Next year, we will have to do roasters of chili !




The Regional Volleyball Bracket is set. Lady Cats play October 27th at 9:00 AM in Hulett.


Upton High School business students visited the local bank today for lessons on checking and savings! Thank you Firstier Bank for hosting them!

Upton FFA officers had the opportunity to go to the NILE in Billings, MT this weekend!


Hey all! So we had a change off plans ! The upton FFA chili cook-off is going to be during the volleyball games this Saturday, October 21st in the high school commons. We would love and appreciate it if you could come out and support the Upton FFA. There is a registration fee of $5 and the chili needs to be at the high school by 11 a.m. You don’t need to worry about a theme or cinnamon rolls! For those who want to try chili, we will charging $10 for chili, cinnamon roll, and drink. We will have deals for those who have families. We give you sample cups to try all of the chili. Then, You just vote and get a bowl for the one you think is the best! Let me know if you have any questions!

Reminder: Flu Shot Clinic for students and staff will be held on Wednesday, October 18 starting at 8:00 at the elementary/middle school then moving to the high school. Consent form for vaccination has been sent home with K-8 students and consent forms for HS can be picked up at the office. Thank you.

Reminder, parent/teacher conferences will begin next week on October 19th and 20th. Please don't forget contact your child's school to schedule a time to visit with their teachers.

Upton volleyball takes down Newcastle! They play again tomorrow at Midwest, varsity starting at 1:00 tomorrow, JV to follow.

High school computer science students are working hard learning to code and program computers!







Please remember to attend the middle and high school choir concert on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, beginning at 7:00 PM. The concert will be in Boal Auditorium in the Upton Elementary/Middle School. Performers need to arrive by 6:45 PM.

WCSD #7 is currently accepting applications for one part time K-5 Title 1 reading and math tutor. Open until filled with the position beginning as soon as possible. Applications can be picked up at the Nelson building or if you prefer, call 307-468-2461 and one can be emailed to you. The application packet must include the district’s application, a cover letter and one current reference letter. This is a part time position, approximately 16 hours per week. Hours will be scheduled by the building principal.
Benefits Wyoming Retirement. Position is entitled to annual leave as outlined in policy.

The application packet must include the district’s application, a cover letter and one current reference letter. This is a grant funded, one year only position that will end on May 22, 2024.
Benefits include medical, vision, dental and life insurance plus Wyoming Retirement. Position is entitled to annual leave as outlined in policy.

The FCCLA bus for Fall Conference leaves the High School parking lot at 5:30 tomorrow morning.

FBLA will be hosting an appreciation night on November 9th for veterans, fireman, and first responders. They will be serving chili and cinnamon rolls as well as hosting activities for all in attendance.
