Over the summer, Upton High School organizations received national recognition within both the FBLA and FFA organizations. This comes after high and unprecedented recognition at the state level.
The FBLA chapter finished in the Top 5 nationally, marking a significant achievement following their back to back Champion Gold Chapter Awards. This accomplishment underscores the hard work and dedication of its members, as well as the supportive educational environment at Upton High School.
Upton's FFA chapter also received the Gold Chapter Award for the second consecutive year and was named Wyoming's Chapter of the Year. At the national level, the FFA chapter earned the 3-star chapter designation, the highest honor given to an FFA chapter, reflecting their commitment to agricultural education and community service.
The successes of the FBLA and FFA chapters are a reflection of the high quality activities and organizations at Upton High School which received 9 state trophies which included state championships as well in boys golf and boys basketball. These achievements set a high standard for future efforts and encourage all students to pursue excellence in their activities. Upton High School continues to foster an environment that supports the development of future leaders.
